everything was awesome except the lounge bar......
Good pool area Very good breakfast Clean and comfortable but not luxury
Close to the city, nice garden.
The hotel needs renovation.
Everuthing went perfect for me during my stay. The staff was very helpfull, after arriving at 8.00 am from a night bus. The swimming pool is simply the best in Mysore. Big, fresh, super relaxing.
The buffet are great, the a la carte was so-so
Excellent location ...good friendly staff...professional...have mantained the standards of 5 starr hotel with price of 3 star hotel
Service was prompt and courteous. Staff were friendly without being obtrusive. Room was huge and spacious.
Breakfast spread was limited. Compared to the room size, bathroom was relatively small.
Firstly, they were flexible and allowed us to check in early at 9am, since we had just arrived in India at B/lore and were very tired. Secondly, nice pool and well kept grounds, everything in room worked OK and plenty of towels etc. Thirdly, internet (using their computer downstairs) Fourth, tasty dinner served around the pool area. Lovely grilled king prawns were the top-ranked and most expensive dish. Fifth, good central location quite close to main market and also the Palace. Sixth, staff all v friendly and spoke English, happy to help with advice on how to wear a saree etc. 7th, well presented and comprehensive breakfast buffet, included in price. Nice, moderately priced, pastries/cakes in lobby for teatime/coffeetime treats.
Internet not available in rooms and was not free. Dining by pool was billed as "Charcoals".... but it was mainly kitchen food rather than grills. For example, no lamb chops. Indians don't seem to be able to make very good coffee, compared with Europeans.
Noise because of the street and in the room.
On our trip the best hotel in India - worth its price!
Friendly staff. Good restaurant with excellent buffet. Services are overall good to excellent.
One has to pay additionally for using the swimming pool and for internet. Some rooms are old but clean. Note all taxes not included in the rates.
nice restaurants, close to train station
We enjoyed the restaurant at the pool side a lot... It is a "quiet spot" were you can relax.
We had to change rooms twice because 1. first room was very smelly and noicy (it was near the technical unit and was not ventilated for a long time. 2. Second room had a connecting door to the room next to it. A noisy Indian family were our neighbours so we changed again...
The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The pool area is excellent. The continental breakfast was very nice and very good selection.
given the tarrif rate for the hotel rooms I was shocked to be told that the Wifi access was not included and the cost per day was very high. You can go to a coffee shop and get free Wifi access. I think most travellers these days would expect this to be a given and not an extra cost.
I liked the hospitality and the care of the hotel staff, and their help for anything we asked. I liked the facilities at the hotel and its location, very near to teh busy streets of the city. I enjoyed very much my stay in the hotel for 6 nights.
Helpful staff and clean pool. Breakfast was good. Accessible to the city. Reception area good. Rear facing bedrooms are quiet.
In contrast to reception area the corridors and rooms are shabby and in need of refurb. Room was bland with what looked like low cost flooring. Similar price to European hotels without the quality. WiFi was not free- unacceptable at the room rate. Would not recommend without refurbishment. Poor driver facilities if you use a car and driver.
